RSS 2018 - IV Women in Robotics Workshop

June 29, 2018
Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA, USA

Application Form: https://goo.gl/forms/GiF9C1IbxtWJvp6x2
Workshop Website: https://sites.google.com/view/rss2018women/
Submission deadline: May 13, 2018
=======================================================================

The Women in Robotics workshop aims to: (1) raise visibility of women in robotics, (2) strengthen community and provide an opportunity for networking, and (3) foster mentorship of junior female researchers. The workshop will be a full-day event with a keynote, invited talks, panel discussions and poster sessions. The day will end with a dinner to provide networking opportunities for junior female researchers.

The workshop will feature two poster sessions in which junior female researchers (grad students and post-docs) will present their research to workshop attendees and the R:SS community. Please fill out the application form to apply to present a poster. You will be asked to provide a research abstract (no more than 500 words) and the name and contact information of a referee. Once selected for presentation, participants will be asked to submit a draft poster of their work. The organizing committee will provide feedback on the posters approximately two weeks before the workshop.

With support from our sponsors, we will offer travel awards to a limited number of selected poster presenters. Due to restrictions from our sponsors, awards for students from non-U.S. institutions are very limited. More information about the workshop, speakers, and panelists can be found on our website:

The application deadline is May 13, 2018 (Anywhere on Earth). Please contact [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> if you have any questions.

We look forward to seeing you there!
