Call for Doctoral Consortium Papers
http://ht.acm.org/ht2014/index.php?dc.dc
(Deadline: May 23rd, 2014)

The Hypertext 2014 Doctoral Consortium aims to provide qualified Ph.D.
students with the opportunity to present their on-going research to the
hypertext community. The Doctoral Consortium will be an integral part of
the Hypertext 2014 program, and will provide a constructive atmosphere and
a forum for Ph.D. students to receive useful feedback from the leading
experts, to exchange ideas, compare approaches and meet fellow researchers
in the field. Doctoral students are invited to apply to present their
research to scholars field who will provide constructive comments about
their work.

Submissions should be related to the conference topics (see ACM Hypertext
2014: Conference Tracks) and describe Ph.D. research that is at a stage
where feedback from the broader hypertext community might be of value.
Thus, we expect students to be close to presenting their thesis proposal,
or to have presented the proposal with at least a year of work remaining
before completion of their thesis.

Submissions should include an extended abstract (up to four pages in the
ACM SIG Proceedings format specified by ACM Hypertext 2014, including
figures and references), which covers the following aspects:

The problem(s) that the proposed research is addressing.
The main contribution(s) of the research to the HT field in the context of
existing research.
The proposed solution(s), including a brief description of results achieved
so far and a tentative plan for future work.
A revised version of this extended abstract will be included in the
Hypertext 2014 Extended Proceedings, which will be published open-access at
CEUR-WS.

Late-Breaking Results
http://ht.acm.org/ht2014/index.php?lbr.lbr
(Deadline: May 23rd, 2014)

The LBR session is a venue for early stage research results, as compared to
the full-paper track of the conference. Late-breaking results contain
original and unpublished accounts of innovative research ideas, preliminary
results, industry showcases, and system prototypes. LBR papers can cover
any of the 3 full paper tracks listed for Hypertext 2014 (see ACM Hypertext
2014: Conference Tracks). Submissions will be assessed based on their
originality and novelty, potential contribution to the research field,
potential impact in particular use cases, and the usefulness of presented
experiences, as well as their overall readability.

Please note that late-breaking papers are not a second chance for those who
did not make it to the main track. Only new researches with up-to-date
results are considered as late-breaking results. Accepted papers will be
presented at the poster session during Hypertext 2014 and will be published
open-access at CEUR-WS.
