Applications are invited for a two-year Post Doctoral Fellowship for the Human-Computer Interaction Lab in the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering. The successful candidate will work on a project "Understanding and improving the transition from novice to expert performance with user interfaces".

Applicants must have relevant research skills and experience, demonstrated by a corresponding high publications standard, which will include at least one of the following:

- User interface design and implementation
- User interface performance modelling
- Quantitative and qualitative experimental design

Start dates are flexible, but the successful candidate should be able to start in January 2011, or as soon as possible thereafter.
