Dear Colleague,

*Friday March 2nd* is the last day for *CHI 2007 early registration* - that
leaves a week for you to register for CHI before the conference fees
increase. Take a look at the Advance
Program<http://chi2007.org/attend/program/ap.php>where Paper, Note,
Interactivity, and Experience Report presentations are
all listed along with Courses, SIGs, Plenaries, and Interactive Sessions.
Then Register at CHI 2007
RegOnline<http://www.regonline.com/Checkin.asp?EventId=109545>for the
conference and sign up for your
*5 free course units*.

After you register for the conference take advantage of the discounted hotel
rates <https://resweb.passkey.com/go/CHI2007> around the San Jose McEnery
Convention Center. *Hurry - the rooms are going fast!*

If you have flexible travel plans, consider staying an extra night and
signing up for *a day of tours on Friday May 4th*. You will have a chance to
spend the day visiting HCI facilities in Silicon Valley-based companies and
universities and meet the people who work there. Companies have grouped
together to offer tour days, so as an attendee you will sign up to visit
typically four organizations in a day. Organizations planning to participate
include TiVo, Google, Frog Design, Microsoft, SAP, Yahoo!, Oracle, Nokia,
IBM, Intuit, Ricoh, and Stanford and Berkeley Universities. More
information will be available about the tour options and how to sign up in a
couple of weeks. Check out the CHI2007 <http://chi2007.org/>
websiteafter March 8th.

In order to celebrate *CHI's 25th anniversary* we are holding a poster and
writing contest <http://chi2007.org/attend/chibuzzcomp.php> and the prize is
a free registration! And on CHI Buzz <http://chibuzz.ist.psu.edu/>, an online
community established to support the CHI conference community, you can share
your stories and memories of CHI, share your pictures from past CHIs, join
discussions in the CHI 2007 Forum, or vote in our CHI 2007 Polls.
