The deadline for CHI Workshops is fast approaching -- please take a
moment to consider proposing one. Workshops are a wonderful venue for
bringing together like-minded people to explore an area in depth and/
or unlike-minded people to gain new perspectives. Many workshops
lead to edited books, special issues of journals, or even new
conferences. Workshops can appeal to any of the CHI communities or
can be cross-cutting but they should focus on exciting, vexing,
stimulating, significant, or even fanciful ideas that you are pursuing.

The deadline is about a month away -- Sep 23. Go to http://
www.chi2006.org/call/workshops.php to find out more. If you have
questions, please contact us at [log in to unmask]
