Call for Participation: ACM Group 2014
http://www.group2014.org
The ACM Group Conference will take place 9-12 November 2014, on Sanibel Island, Florida.
For over 25 years, the ACM International Conference on Supporting Group Work is a premier venue for research on Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW), and Technology-Enhanced Learning (TEL) and Socio-Technical Studies (STS). GROUP 2014 continues the tradition of being truly international in both organizational structure as well as participants, and key for the program is to encourage and facilitate researchers within HCI, CSCW, CSCL, TEL, STS to interact across disciplinary interest. We are open for a plurality of research communities and different methods, and are looking forward to the latest findings within broad areas such as technology, society, and human interaction in different types of work practices and learning including formal organizations, home, healthcare, and leisure.
GROUP14 provides different venues with different types of interaction between presenter and audience. Sessions are a key start for communicating your research. We offer informal breaks, lunch and dinner to continue networking. Get involved in Group’s intellectual community!
**5 venues with different types of interaction
a) Papers - The papers venue provides 30 minutes to present and interact with the audience. Accepted papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings and ACM Digital Library.
b) Working papers - Authors of WoPs will get a 10 minutes slot to present and initiate conversation with attendees. The goal is to launch potential conversations that improve the working paper.
