The Editors of the Proceedings of the ACM (PACM) on Interactive,
Mobile, Wearable and Ubiquitous Technologies (IMWUT) would like to
inform the community about the results of the second submission cycle
of the journal (February 15 deadline).

We received 267 high-quality submissions and returned reviews and
decisions for the papers within 6 weeks from the date of submission.
Quick rejects were notified within 10 days after submission.

The decisions for this cycle are as follows:

23 papers (9%) accepted with minor revisions
114 papers (43%) need major revisions
110 papers (41%) rejected
17 papers (6%) quick rejected
3 papers (1%) withdrawn

The 114 papers that need a major revision must be re-submitted to one
of the next two submission cycles (May 15 or August 15). Those papers
have a strong chance of being accepted, provided that the requested
changes are implemented and the reviewers confirm their concerns are
successfully addressed by these changes. For instance, of the 12
papers that have already been re-submitted after being required major
revisions in the first submission cycle (November 2016), 7 have been
accepted while 5 rejected.

All papers accepted until July 14, 2017 will be invited to present at
UbiComp 2017. If you would like your paper to be invited for
presentation at UbiComp 2017 too, please consider submitting to the
next PACM IMWUT deadline (May 15). Papers submitted to the subsequent
deadlines will be invited to present at UbiComp 2018, if accepted.

Best Regards,

The PACM IMWUT Editors
