* 20 May 2017: Notification to authors
* 28 May 2017: Workshop, Demo, TOR and LBR paper camera ready

Submissions (demos, theory, opinion and reflection, and late-breaking results) must adhere to the ACM Standard (SIGCONF) proceedings format.

* Demonstrations: max 2 pages (plus 1 extra page [not to be published], stating technical requirements for demonstrating at UMAP 2017.)
* Theory, Opinion and Reflection (TOR): max 4 pages
* Late-Breaking Results (LBR): 4 to 6 pages

Accepted demo, theory, opinion and reflection, and late-breaking results papers will be published in the UMAP 2017 Extended Proceedings in the ACM Digital Library.

All categories will be presented at the poster reception of the conference, in the form of a poster (A0 portrait or A1 landscape) and/or a software demonstration following poster format for demos and LBR and in the form of a campfire session for TOR.
