The HCI 2011 committee apologises for any confusion caused over the relatively late change to the required template (from ACM to BCS eWic) for submissions to the 25th Conference on Human-Computer Interaction (HCI2011).
For submission categories due on the 21st, we will still accept papers formatted using the ACM template. However, due to the alternative template the following changes to submission procedures and deadlines have been made, and take into account the differences in page length for different template format.
SUBMISSION CATEGORIES DUE ON THE 21st JANUARY 2011
:- Long Papers formatted in the ACM format will still be accepted at a maximum length of eight (8) pages *
:- Long Papers formatted in the BCS eWic format will still be accepted at a maximum length of ten (10) pages
:- Workshop proposals formatted in the ACM format will still be accepted at a maximum length of two (2) pages *
:- Workshop proposals formatted in the BCS eWic format will still be accepted at a maximum length of three (3) pages
The submission deadline for both long papers and workshop proposals has been extend one week to Friday the 28th of January 2011-01-20
Deadlines for all other categories have NOT been extended. However, in light of the format changes.
:- Short Papers should be formatted in the BCS eWic format and are now a maximum length of six (6) pages, not four (4).
* papers and workshop proposals that are accepted after review will be required to do their final formatting in the BCS eWics template available at
