INTRODUCTION
Sigchi.dk and Centre for Human-Machine Interaction are happy to announce
the first Danish symposium on human-computer interaction research. The
primary aim of the symposium is to stimulate networking in Danish HCI
research, and to enable researchers to get an overview of what is being
done in Denmark recently. Researchers from academia as well as from the
industry are encouraged to participate. All participants have to present
recent work through interactive presentations, i.e displayed on posters and
discussed during the poster session. Experience from e.g. the ACM DIS
conference indicates that this format stimulates creative dialog more
efficiently than the traditional talk format.
