ACII 2015 - 2nd Call for Workshop Proposals
---------------------------------------
September 21-24, 2015, Xi'an, China
http://www.acii2015.org/

The Sixth Biannual International Conference on Affective Computing and Intelligent Interaction (ACII 2015) organized by the Association for the Advancement of Affective Computing will be held in Xi'an, China on September 21-24, 2015.

The Conference series on Affective Computing and Intelligent Interaction is the premier international forum for interdisciplinary research on the design of systems that can recognize, interpret, and simulate human emotions and related affective phenomena. This ACII edition will emphasize biological underpinnings of affective computing.

In addition to regular papers (which are due April 24, 2015), ACII 2015 will also feature a number of Workshops. The ACII 2015 Workshops aim to facilitate lively discussions, comparison of methods, synthesis of results on particular topics of interest to Affective Computing. The workshops will be held on the first day of the main conference, Monday, September 21, 2015 and all accepted papers will be published as part of the main ACII 2015 conference proceedings.
We invite workshop proposals on any current or emerging topic of relevance for the fields of Affective Computing and Intelligent Interaction. High impact meetings, new workshops on emerging areas of research and practice, as well as challenges and competition events are particularly encouraged. These could be organised as either full or half day events. Evaluation of workshop proposals will be based on impact, theme and relevance to ACII 2015, quality of the proposal, inter-disciplinary character of the workshop and the level of details provided.
