* Conference background and goals

The IADIS WWW/Internet 2003 conference aims to
address the main issues of concern within WWW/
Internet studies. The Internet has undergone massive
development in recent years, and research increasingly
focuses not only on technical issues, but also on other
aspects. This conference aims to cover both
technological as well as non-technological issues related
to these developments. Main tracks have been identified
(see below), but innovative contributions that don't fit
into
these areas will also be considered.

* Format of the Conference

The conference will be comprised of invited talks and oral
presentations.  The proceedings of the conference will be
published in the form of a book. The best paper authors
will be invited to publish extended versions of their
papers in the IADIS International Journal on
WWW/Internet.

* Types of submissions

Full and Short Papers, Posters/Demonstrations,
Tutorials, Panels and Doctoral Consortium. All
submissions are subject to a blind refereeing process.

* Topics related to e-Society are of interest. These
include, but are not limited to the following areas:
