ACM’s <interactions> Magazine
Seeks Its Next Editor-in-Chief

<interactions> is ACM’s flagship magazine on
applied human-computer interaction (HCI). Its
primary objective is to communicate ideas, standards, practices,
research results, and case studies to the HCI
community. It helps users, developers,
designers, managers, researchers, and purchasers
interested in HCI gain access to leading- edge
ideas and tools that emerge from research and
development, achieving a true technology
transfer from R&D settings to the practitioner community.

<interactions> is also ACM SIGCHI’s membership
magazine and as such is distributed to more than 5,000 members worldwide.

The position starts in mid-2007 in preparation
for the January- February 2008 issue. The
<interactions> editor-in-chief is a three-year
volunteer position and is assisted by ACM staff
for the production of the magazine.

To apply, please send a résumé, letter of
motivation, and statement of your vision for the magazine by April 15, 2007 to:
	Dan Olsen,
	Search Committee Chair
