7th Latin American Conference on Human Computer Interaction (CLIHC '15,
co-located with ISA '15)
Nov 18-21, 2015
Cordoba, Argentina

GRADUATE COLLOQUIUM CFP

CLIHC 2015 is the bi-annual conference that aims to bring together the
Latin American HCI community. The graduate colloquium is an event aimed at
graduate students (masters and doctoral students) who are working in areas
related to Human-Computer Interaction. The goal behind the event is
obtaining valuable feedback from prominent researchers in the area. The
graduate colloquium will take place on one day during the CLIHC 2015 at
Cordoba, Argentina.

AIMS
- To offer students with the opportunity to share and discuss their work
before experienced researchers.
- To promote collaboration among graduate students across different
universities in Latin America

GRADUATE COLLOQUIUM
Each student will be presenting her or his work before a panel of
researchers for 15 minutes. After that, there will be a 5 minute Q&A
session aimed at providing constructive feedback to the student. Finally,
another 5 minutes will be allocated to questions from the audience. The
panel of researchers is TBA.

SUBMISSIONS
Submissions (up to 2 pages) must be written in English using the ACM
Conference Proceedings format (http://bit.ly/1GEAq5g). Please make sure
that your submission includes the following sections or information:
Introduction, related work, research questions or objectives, methodology,
status of research, and expected results. Also please state how far you are
in your research (e.g., first year student). Accepted contributions will be
included in the CLIHC 2015 Extended Proceedings. Contributions must be
submitted via EasyChair (https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=clihc2015)
in Word format only.


IMPORTANT DATES
- Deadline: Sep, 4 2015 (extended)
- Notification of acceptances: Sep 19 2015
- Graduate colloquium date: TBA
- Conference dates: Nov 18-21, 2015

FINANCIAL SUPPORT
ACM SIGCHI has provided a limited amount of scholarships for students
attending the graduate colloquium, which will be allocated by a scientific
committee. Students with accepted proposals can apply for a stipend of up
to 1,000 USD .
