=====================================================
IEEE Global Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things
(2020 IEEE GCAIoT)
https://gcaiot.org/index.html
Theme: Digital Transformation and Beyond
12-15 December 2020
Dubai, UAE
=====================================================

Organized by IEEE TEMS, IEEE R8, IEEE 5G Future Networks, and IEEE UAE Section

Submit your papers and take part in our endeavor to provide a technological forum for researchers and spread brilliant ideas everywhere! We are inviting you to present your papers, posters, or demo proposals at the 2020 IEEE GCAIoT on one of the conference’s TWO tracks.

IMPORTANT DATES
Technical Paper Submission: 23 August 2020
Acceptance Notification: 10 September 2020
Camera-ready Submission: 1 October 2020

The theme for this year's IEEE GCAIoT 2020 conference is “Digital Transformation and Beyond”; it was chosen in recognition of the ongoing developments in the MENA region regarding the focus on the deployment of “Digitalization” to facilitate and operate the principles and policies remotely. This enables us to sustain the improvement in drastic situations such as the current pandemic. So whenever and wherever you are, AI will keep you connected with the rest of your community, and spreads ideas even when you are apart!

SCOPE
2020 IEEE GCAIoT aims to provide a forum for researchers from both academic and industry fields to share their latest research contributions and exchange knowledge with the common goal of shaping the future of the interaction among Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Internet of Things (IoT), 5G and Future Technology Trends to foster digital transformation and develop sustainable smart healthy cities.

Contributed papers are to describe original works in these fields and related technologies. All papers need to include a paragraph about the “Society and Technology Management” of their proposed contribution. As we know, the relationship of humans to technology and management is an ever-growing theme in today’s world and our scope is to display the concepts of how to manage and transact the new technology with respect to social implications than just the technology.

We also encourage contributions that address the unprecedented COVID-19 and future similar epidemics, and how to use the new technologies to fight it and cope with its consequences.

The conference program includes paper presentations, poster sessions and project demonstrations, along with prominent keynote speakers and industry-focused workshops. There are three tracks in the conference: technical track, governmental track, and industrial track. The industrial track will include a one-day focused Industry Summit, in addition to a Women in Technology one-day event where we will listen, share and be part of the innovative stories of every woman in the tech industry to shed the light on their contributions and help them to excel in the tech industry.

TOPICS INCLUDED
*NEW* IEEE 5G Summit
5G wireless communication is almost here and it’s bound to make our lives tenfold easier. 5G will not only deliver faster data speed by higher multi-Gbps, higher performance and more availability but it is set to give an overall better user experience. Every telecommunication infrastructure in the developed world is being updated to provide its clients with 5G wireless communication, and we have updated our own program to have a one day event mainly focused on 5G. Don’t miss out on the chance to experience it firsthand.

*NEW* Women in Tech
As women keep on contributing to society in general and our tech community in particular, we couldn’t pass up the chance to have a one day event about women in tech. By women in tech we don’t just mean CEOs and the genius leaders out there, but we mean every single woman who works in the tech sector regardless of her position. We want to listen, share and be part of your innovative stories, even if it’s just for one day.
