The 5th International Conference on Pervasive Computing Technologies for Healthcare, Pervasive Health 2011 (http://www.pervasivehealth.org/), invites workshop proposals that address innovative and important topics related to the application of pervasive technologies in the field of healthcare.



The workshops should establish an informal forum for participants to exchange developing research results and ideas. Workshops will take place during the first day of the conference, on 23 May 2011.



Workshop proposers are requested to submit a 2-page workshop proposal including a timely topic of interest to both Workshop Chairs - Maurice Mulvenna ([log in to unmask]) and Marilyn McGee-Lennon ([log in to unmask]) - no later than 5pm GMT on Friday 19 November 2010.



The outcome of workshop proposals will be announced on Friday 10 December 2010.



Each workshop should have one or more organisers and an international program committee.



Your workshop proposal should include:



 1. Title of the proposed workshop



2. Abstract (fewer than 200 words)



3. Names and full addresses, including contact details, of the workshop chairs and Program Committee members



4. Short description of the motivation and objectives as well as the original and technical merit of the topic



5. Provisional agenda and intended audience



6. Tentative timelines for submitting and reviewing workshop position papers



 The criteria for assessment will include:



* Originality and technical merit of the topic



* Wider interest in the topic



* Topical link to the main conference



All organisers of accepted workshops are requested to open the website of the workshop and report the URL to the workshop chairs not later than 17 December, 2010.

Workshops Proposal Submission Deadline: 19 November 2010

Notification of Acceptance:   10 December 2010
