The 2018 IEEE 1st 5G World Forum (5GWF’18) in Santa Clara, California is a unique event bringing together experts from industry, academia, and research to exchange their vision and advances towards 5G to encourage innovative collaboration to benefit society.

The IEEE 5G World Forum is where answers about 5G technologies and applications will emerge for industry managers, practicing engineers, policy makers, regulators, researchers, and academics. Through the vision of keynote speakers, the various panels on technical topics and use cases that allow for engaging discussion, and the tutorials, workshops and industry demonstrations providing hands-on learning experiences, this event will provide attendees with the opportunity to gain real information to answer the many questions around this emerging technology. The Worldwide Industry Fora participants will outline various national 5G strategies and deployment progress to enable global collaboration and consensus, and attendees will be inspired by 5G innovators in the Startup Forum. By interacting and collaborating with engineers from around the world, attendees are invited to be part of the global collaboration creating 5G for the benefit of society.

The 2018 IEEE 5G World Forum will offer a rich program including:

* Worldwide 5G Industry Fora Session: participants offer their national 5G strategy and adoption status, discuss alignment and harmonization
