The University of Sheffield, Department of Computer Science, is seeking a research associate in mobile computing for smart cities http://tinyurl.com/zwugr7j to work on the European Project SETA (setamobility.eu) on creating an open, sustainable, ubiquitous data and service ecosystem for efficient, effective, safe, resilient mobility in metropolitan areas. 

The main requirements are of this role are a PhD degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, good scientific publication track record in the area of smart cities/sensing via mobiles, excellent programming and testing skills in different languages (e.g. Java, C, Javascript, etc.) and significant experience in mobile development.

The post is fixed term for 2 years.
