HRI 2021 Virtual Conference: March 8-11, 2021

The registration for HRI 2021 is OPEN now!

HRI 2021 is the 16th Annual Conference for basic and applied human-robot
interaction research. Researchers from around the world present their best
work about the latest theories, technology, data, demonstrations and videos
furthering the state-of-the-art in human-robot interaction. The conference
will occur using the Hopin <https://www.hopin.com/> platform. We are still
seeking student volunteers, who will also help run the interactive sessions.

Please find information on conference registration, the Student Volunteer
Program application information, and workshops/tutorials below.

STUDENT VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

https://humanrobotinteraction.org/2021/student-volunteer-program/

HRI 2021 will include a Student Volunteer (SV) Program. SVs are the heart
of what makes a conference run smoothly, and we would love to have you on
board. SVs are expected to provide support for various activities during
the virtual conference and can volunteer for some activities helping with
the preparation of the conference. With this year’s virtual format of the
HRI conference, there are no travel costs for SVs and there are no costs
associated with the registration for SVs.

The deadline for applying for the SV Program is February 5th, 2021. The
application link is here <https://forms.gle/X6w2pzRTgMoESArw6>. We
currently accept SVs on a continuous basis and applications close on
February 5th. Being an SV is a great way to participate in one of the
leading conferences in the HRI research community, expand your knowledge,
and network with many fellow students. We would like to include students
with diverse backgrounds from everywhere in the world. In the selection of
SVs, priority will be given to students with accepted conference or
workshop paper(s) and to HRI Pioneers. However, we still encourage other
students to apply for the SV Program.

Please keep in mind that student volunteers are expected to work a minimum
of 20 hours and attend the conference from its start to close (March 08 –
11, 2021). You will be required to complete training sessions with the
online system before the conference. Any questions can be directed to the
SV Chairs.
