The UPA magazine, User Experience, for the 2nd quarter of 2012 will be on the theme of Mobile Health & Mobile Money. Please submit proposals for articles that take a broad view of applications and use of mobile technology, especially in health or financial domains ASAP.
Articles may be stories about research methods, case studies or design solutions that address creative and interesting application of mobile technology in a variety of contexts. This may include discussion around challenges (such as age, cost, gender, literacy, or the availability of power supply or network coverage) for design, implementation or use of mobile technology in a particular region, or a specific context. We are interested in learning more about your experience in the field, and we look forward to receiving your submission.
UX Magazine articles are typically between 750 and 2000 words. They are written in an active, personal voice. There are no literature surveys or footnotes. Authors work with a member of the editorial board to prepare their articles for publication.
The schedule is:
November 30, 2011: Article proposals (short summaries of the key points in your article) due
January 27, 2012: Articles due
May 2012: Issue published
