PACM IMWUT: Proceedings of the ACM on Interactive, Mobile, Wearable
and Ubiquitous Technologies
http://imwut.acm.org

************************************

The Proceedings of the ACM (PACM) on Interactive, Mobile, Wearable and
Ubiquitous Technologies (IMWUT) is a premier journal series for
research relevant to the post-PC era. Computing technology is becoming
increasingly pervasive; embedded throughout the environment as well as
in mobile devices, wearables, and the Internet of Things. This is
leading to a transformative change in the utility that technology can
provide to users and societies, and how people relate to technology.
IMWUT covers a broad range of topics relevant to this change, such as
mobile systems, wearable technologies and intelligent environments.
The scope includes research contributions in systems and
infrastructures, new hardware and sensing techniques, and studies of
user experiences and societal impact. IMWUT also welcomes
contributions on new methodologies and tools, theories and models, as
well as visionary and survey papers that help advance the field.

**Submission Deadlines and Associated Publication Issues**

IMWUT has 4 deadlines per year: February 15, May 15, August 15, and November 15.

We offer a quick publication schedule. For instance, papers submitted
on May 15 may be published as soon as in the September issue (issue
3), if the review process indicates only minor revisions are required.
Detailed information about IMWUT – including submission instructions
and a description of its reviewing process – is available at:
http://imwut.acm.org/

**Reviewing**
All submissions will be reviewed by the IMWUT Editorial Board.
Authors can expect a decision about their paper within approximately 8
weeks from the date of submission.

**Submission**
Detailed submission instructions are available here:
http://imwut.acm.org/authors.cfm. The IMWUT submission site for the
November 15 deadline will open soon at:
http://new.precisionconference.com/~imwut

While there is no page limit for IMWUT submissions, a paper length
approximately 8000-10000 words (13-16 pages), not including references
or figures, is considered appropriate. Significantly longer (or
shorter) submissions will be subject to additional scrutiny. Please
also note that starting from November 2017, IMWUT enforces a
double-blind policy. You can read the details about IMWUT policies
here: http://imwut.acm.org/author-policies.cfm

**Presentation of PACM IMWUT accepted papers at UbiComp 2018**
If your paper is accepted for publication in IMWUT Issue 4 for 2017
and IMWUT Issue 1-3 for 2018, you will receive an invitation, but are
not obliged, to present it at the UbiComp 2018 conference.

Submissions appearing in IMWUT Issue 4 for 2018 or Issue 1-3 for 2019
will be invited to be presented at the UbiComp 2019 conference (and so
on in subsequent years).
