OzCHI 2014 Designing Futures: the Future of Design

OzCHI 2014 Workshops aim at bringing together researchers in the field of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) to discuss and interact on a specific topic. Workshops on methods, practices, and other areas of interest and that support active participation beyond presentation are welcome.
Quick Facts about OzCHI 2014 Workshop Proposals
* Submission deadline: extended to 31 July 2014
* Submission format: unanonymized 2-page proposal based on the OzCHI template on http://www.ozchi.org/submit/submit.html, a 250-word Call for Participation and a link to the workshop website (if one exists). The 250-word CFP and the link will be used on the OzCHI website where we will collect short descriptions of each accepted workshop.
* Proposals should give a brief overview of the academic background for the workshop and propose a workshop format and agenda
* Calls for participation should indicate whether chairs require a position paper as a pre-requisite for participation
* Submissions are by email to workshops.chair[AT]ozchi.org
* Submissions will not be included in the formal proceedings, as they are not peer-reviewed, but may be included on the conference memory stick if you wish.
* Workshop convenors retain copyright in their proposals. If your proposal is accepted, a copyright statement to replace the standard ACM one will be provided.
Important dates:
* Submissions due 31 July 2014
* Notification: 22 August 2014
* Camera-ready (if desired) 22 Oct 2014
* At the conference: Half-day or one-day session on 2 December.
