2nd Summer School on Computational Interaction - Inference, optimization and modelling for the engineering of interactive systems
13th-18th June 2016, Aalto University, Helsinki
http://computationalinteraction.org
Hosted by the User Interfaces Group, Aalto University
The theme of the summer school will be bringing computational tools to bear on enhancing interaction. This will encompass modelling of interaction, computer-assisted optimization of interfaces, applied machine learning and more. The summer school has a strong focus on developing applied skills. Therefore, it provides practical development sessions in the afternoon of each day. In addition, participants will experience the Finnish summer in an exclusive evening program. The summer school is the successor of a highly successful first Summer School on Computational Interaction held in Glasgow in 2015.
Program:
Monday: Machine learning
Tuesday: Control theory
Wednesday: Touch and language models
Thursday: Gestural interaction
Friday: Computational rationality
Saturday: Hackathon
