Final call for Participation: Virtual Workshop on Designing Technologies for Future Forms of Sustainable Mobility – One-day Workshop at MobileHCI2020 

We invite submissions for our virtual MobileHCI 2020 workshop: "Designing Technologies for Future Forms of Sustainable Mobility" on October 5th, 2020.

Position paper deadline: August 14, 2020 (extended)
Acceptance notification: August 21, 2020

Workshop Goals:

This workshop aims to gather designers, researchers, and practitioners from the sustainable HCI, persuasive design, AutomotiveUI, and mobility communities to collaborate in
finding ways to make future mobility more sustainable. To participate, please prepare a position paper (max. 4 pages, excluding references, using the traditional CHI extended abstract format) should be submitted via EasyChair.

Topics:

Position papers should cover one of the following or related topics:
•	Sustainable interaction with (automated) vehicles, and new forms of micro-mobility
•	Best practices from other domains
•	The effect of automation on sustainability
•	Multi-modal traffic
•	Behavior change towards environment-friendly mobility
•	Eco driving
•	Theory and/or research methods
•	Legal issues and/or legislation
•	Effect of mobility on climate change
•	Cities, mobility, and climate change
•	Case studies

Position papers will be reviewed by the workshop organizers and evaluated based on their novelty, quality, and relevance to the workshop themes. One author of the accepted papers is required to attend the workshop and register for both the workshop and for at least one day of the main conference. Upon acceptance,  you will have the opportunity to present your research at the workshop date. The dealine will not be extended beyond August 14.
