Research opportunity in participatory interaction design at the University of Limerick as part of the FP7 ICT Integrating Project meSch - Material Encounters in Digital Cultural Heritage, which brings together expertise from 12 European partners with the goal of designing, developing and deploying tools for the creation of tangible interactive experiences that connect the physical experience of museums and exhibitions with relevant digital cross-media information in novel ways.
The UL contribution to the meSch project will be focused on: the envisioning and realisation of co-design and participatory design activities, the development of co-design exercises with participating museums working towards the realisation of meSch interactive artefacts and exhibitions, and ongoing evaluation of meSch demos and prototypes.
