SIGCHI Austria (Austria) is cooperating with CURE & BIT to organize the
conference on "Future Interfaces: Ihr Kontakt zur Technologie.
Innovation-Qualität-Vergnügen" . It will take place on December 13th, 9am
to 6pm, Tabakmuseum, Museumsquartier, Vienna / Austria. The conference
invites participants to explore, present and discuss the visions and ideas
with partners involved in interaction interface and design development
processes together with representatives from the European Commission.
SIGCHI.NL (Netherlands) will hold on 13 december its fall or winter
conference, entitled "Designing for People Everywhere" at the

Toulouse SIGCHI (Toulouse, France) will host in ONERA/CERT on Monday,
December 17th, the talk "Extending direct-manipulation interfaces" by
Prof David G. Novick, University of Texas at El Paso.

"Innovation og usability" discussion at Navision, Vedbæk

The BayCHI East Bay BOF and UC Berkeley's Human Centered Computing Seminar
Jointly Present the talk "Physical Interaction Design" by Bill Verplank on
Tuesday,
December 4 at 7.00 p.m. at the Sibley Auditorium, Bechtel Engineering
Center, UC Berkeley.
