S-BPM ONE 2012 2nd Call For Participation

---------------------------------------------------------------------
The 4th International Conference on
Subject-oriented Business Process Management
- Enabling Transition -
April 4-5, 2012
Vienna, Austria
http://www.s-bpm-one.org
---------------------------------------------------------------------

S-BPM ONE is a scientific forum for researchers and practitioners
that are active or interested in topics related to Subject-Oriented
Business Process Management.

S-BPM has become one of the most widely discussed approaches for
process professionals. Its potential particularly lies in the
integration of advanced information technology with organizational
and managerial methods to foster and leverage business innovation,
operational excellence and intra- and inter-organizational
collaboration.

We are proud that this year's S-BPM ONE is able
to continue and even strengthen the tradition of facilitating the
discourse of researchers, developers, educators and practitioners.
The highly interactive format of the conference will foster exchange
of approaches and experiences between domains and disciplines and
provide impulses for the further development of S-BPM-based concepts
and technology.

The keynote lecture will be given by Egon Börger. Based on his extensive
research experience in Software Technology, he links the concept of S-BPM
to the Abstract State Machines (ASM) Method and will give us an understanding
of this correlation.

The organizing committee is also pleased to announce a half-day
tutorial on the academic foundations and the business use of
subject-oriented business process modeling. Participation is
included in the conference fees.

The full program is available at http://www.s-bpm-one.org/index.php?id=122 and
summarized below. With a total of 12 high quality scientific contributions and
19 contributions in the field of business developments and education (all
published by Springer in their LNBIP and CCIS series, respectively), we have
been able to create a comprehensive and multi-faceted programe that we would
like to share with you. Registration is still open until March, 19th.

We hope to see you in Vienna,

Chris Stary
Chair of the Program Committee
