Call for participation: show your stuff at the SIGCHI Booth

CONTACT: Jonathan Arnowitz at [log in to unmask]

Your work helps form the identity of SIGCHI, now you can literally do
this as well by adding your work to the SIGCHI Conference booth.

SIGCHI is soliciting people to send in prints of your work for
inclusion as part of a collage of HCI work on the SIGCHI Conference
booth. Here are the requirements:

1) A picture of HCI work, this can be:

A screen capture
A picture of a user working on an HCI artefact
A picture of an HCI Artefact
A picture of the design team at work
A picture of developers at work

2) Print format: the print must be done on cloth (many printers allow
you to do this, either on cloth itself, or T-shirts or sweaters (we
will cut away the extra material). The cloth must be white or a very
light color to match in with the rest of the collage (also to prevent
the colors from detracting from the images). Also, please use as
sturdy a cloth as you can. The cloth will either be Velcro-ed to the
booth or pinned depending on where it will be afixed to the booth.

3) The print size should be about a page long. It can be longer
(double a page size maximum), but the larger it is the more likely it
will be partially covered up in the collage process.

4) Please do not include logos in your print

5) Please mail the materials to the following address (please observe
the the deadlines if you want your material included at the CHI2001
booth):

In Europe, send before March 10:
Jonathan Arnowitz
Cambridge Technology Partners
Het Kasteel 1

The Netherlands

In the United States, send before March 20:
Elizabeth Dykstra-Erickson

116 Hamilton Avenue
