Call for Manuscripts

Entertainment Computing (ENTCOM) publishes research articles from all fields of entertainment computing. Papers that are multidisciplinary or address new or emerging areas of entertainment are particularly encouraged. Thus, the scope is dynamic.
ENTCOM is committed to publishing top-tier original research in all areas of entertainment which involves advanced computing technology, and related fields through a fair, and rigorous double blind review process with high requirements for integrity. It offers authors high visibility for their papers, access to a broad readership, high standards of copy editing and production, rapid publication and independence from societies and organizations with vested interests.
Manuscripts submitted to the ENTCOM should be Original Article or Review.

Original Article: Original Article must either be of a current general interest or of great significance to a more specialized readership. It is double blind peer reviewed and report details of studies that have not been published previously, except in the form of conference papers (1/3 of content can remain the same text, 1/3 of content should be rephrased, and 1/3 of content has to be new). There are no restriction placed on the length of an Original Article; however it is normally of 10-15 journal pages (i.e. 20-30 manuscript pages).

Review: Review introduces the reader to a particular area of an author's research through a concise overview of a selected topic. The content should balance scope with depth, it should be a focused review of about 10 journal pages. Reference to important work from others that is significant to the topic has to be included.

More of these guidelines are available on the internet at

Kind regards
Ryohei NAKATSU and Matthias RAUTERBERG
