CALL FOR PAPERS: BNAIC 2015

This year, the 27th Benelux Conference on Artificial Intelligence (BNAIC
2015) is organized by Hasselt University under the auspices of the Benelux
Association for Artificial Intelligence (BNVKI) and the Dutch Research
School for Information and Knowledge Systems (SIKS). BNAIC 2015 will be
held in the “Old Prison”, Hasselt, Belgium on Thursday 5 and Friday 6
November, 2015.

BNAIC 2015 will include invited speakers, research presentations, posters
and demonstrations. Authors are invited to submit papers on all aspects of
artificial intelligence.

The following keynote speakers have agreed to speak at the conference:

Researchers are invited to submit unpublished original research, but
high-quality research results already published in international
conferences or journals are also welcome. Four types of submissions are
invited:

Type A: REGULAR PAPERS

Papers presenting new original work. Submitted papers should not exceed a
length of 8 pages. These papers will be reviewed on overall quality and
relevance. Type A-Papers can be accepted for either oral or poster
presentation. All accepted papers will be fully published in the
proceedings. However authors can opt for their accepted  papers not to be
included in the proceedings.

Type B: COMPRESSED CONTRIBUTIONS

Papers that have been accepted after 1 June 2014 for AI-related refereed
conferences or journals can be resubmitted and will be accepted as
compressed contributions. Authors are invited to submit the officially
published version (without page restriction) together with a one or
two-page abstract. Type B-Papers will be accepted for either oral or poster
presentation. The abstract of the paper will be published in the
proceedings. . However authors can opt for their accepted  abstracts not to
be included in the proceedings.

Every author may submit at most one B-paper of which they are the
corresponding author, and only if they do not submit any A-paper as
corresponding author.

Type C: DEMONSTRATIONS & APPLICATIONS

Proposals for demonstrations will be evaluated based on submitted
demonstration summaries stating the following: the purpose of the system to
be demonstrated, its user groups, the organization or project for which it
is developed, the developers, and the technology used. In addition, the
system requirements and the duration of the demo (not exceeding 30 minutes)
should be mentioned. The maximum size of demonstration summaries is 2 pages
(in English).

Type D: THESIS ABSTRACTS

We invite students at the Bachelor and Master level to submit a one or
two-page abstract of their accepted AI-related thesis. The thesis should be
accepted after 1 June 2014. Type D-papers will be judged on relevance for
the conference and (if relevant) be accepted for poster presentation. The
abstract will be published in the proceedings. . However authors can opt
for their accepted  abstracts not to be included in the proceedings.


Papers and demonstration summaries should be submitted electronically via
EasyChair by 31 August 2015. Submission details can be found at
http://BNAIC2015.org <http://bnaic2015.org/>  . Submission implies
willingness of at least one author to register for BNAIC 2015 and present
the paper. For each paper, a separate author registration is required.
Authors keep the copyright of their submissions.
