Dear colleagues,

Late last year, I shared with you information about the release of a special issue of the IEEE Transactions on Learning Technologies (TLT) on Learning through Wearable Technologies and the Internet of Things. I am pleased to announce that a special "sister" issue of the IEEE Transactions on Education (ToE) on Maker Learning in Computer Science and Engineering Education has now also been published.

My guest editorial preface to the ToE special issue is free to download at and provides an overview of the three articles that constitute the issue. The full issue is available through IEEE Xplore at (Click on the "Current Issue" link, then scroll down—the special issue begins after the five regular articles of the journal's February 2017 issue.) Unfortunately, other than editorials, ToE content is available only to those with individual or institutional subscriptions, and to members of the IEEE Education Society. Hopefully you will have access through your university’s or college’s library.

Also, in case you previously missed it, the TLT issue is at . (The guest editorial of that issue is also free/open access.)

Please feel free to share this message widely with others who might be interested, both individually and through the networks and associations of which you are a part.

Happy reading!

Kind regards,

Mark J. W. Lee
