Hi,

In his 1993 book, Usability Engineering, Jacob Nielsen reports that  
48% of the code is devoted to the user interface (page ix).

In the same book, he reports some figures about cost savings from the  
use of usability engineering methods on page 2.

I need recent studies/findings/figures about these two issues.

I'd appreciate your help in advance.
