You don't have to be an experienced user to know that email addresses can be
faked. Many usenet posters use fake email addresses to conceal identity or
prevent spammer. The same thing can easily be done when using a mailto link to
send in feedback.

Therefore, using a mailto link does NOT mean that you have to reveal your
email address.
