For many that may have known Jef or read any of his writings, I'm sure
this announcement will bring a little soberness and reflection to a
Monday.  

Jef Raskin, the lead designer of the first Macintosh computer and a 
pioneer in the development of user interfaces, died Saturday at age 
61.

one of those that helped improve our windows of adventure.
