The Finnish Center of Excellence in Computational Inference Research
(COIN), a joint research center of Aalto University and University of
Helsinki, is now seeking a
Postdoctoral researcher in intelligent multimodal information access
for a fixed-term period of at most three years. We are looking for a
postdoctoral researcher to join us in developing and applying new
multimodal information retrieval methods in our flagship project on
Intelligent Information Access, together with professor Samuel Kaski,
Dr. Jorma Laaksonen, professor Petri Myllymäki and professor Erkki Oja.
Collaboration with other professors of COIN is also possible.
Especially candidates who have a strong background and interest in
applying machine learning techniques for multimodal information
retrieval in ubiquitous environments are encouraged to apply.
