The Faculty of Health, Science and Technology at Karlstad University, Sweden, invites applications for two doctoral studentships in Computer Science with a focus on data-driven mobile networks and services at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science.
- The focus of the first doctoral position is on how to design data- and service-driven solutions for latency-aware communication in the fifth and sixth generation mobile networks.
- The focus of the second doctoral position is on how to measure and analyse end-to-end latency and related performance metrics, both in currently operational 5G networks as well as in future networks.
The PhD students will work together with an internationally established and collaborative team of researchers and in close collaboration with our industrial partners. PhD students at Karlstad University are offered a competitive salary and receive full employer benefits.
