CVMP CALL FOR PAPERS - DEADLINE EXTENDED TO 17 JUNE
17th - 18th November 2010
BFI, Southbank, London
Due to demand, the submissions deadline for paper submission to CVMP has been extended to 17th June. CVMP is a great chance to share your work with production and post production specialists from the worlds of film, broadcast and games with image and graphics researchers.
High-quality papers are invited which present novel research related to any aspect of media production. The Best papers from CVMP 2010 will be published in a special issue of JVRB

We are pleased to confirm that Dan Piponi from ILM and Markus Gross from Disney Research Zurich are two of the Keynote Speakers this year.
Dr. Gross (right) is a professor of computer science at ETH Zurich, head of the Computer Graphics Laboratory and the director of Disney Research Zurich.
Dan Piponi is Senior Engineer at Industrial Light and Magic.
CALL FOR PAPERS
High-quality papers are invited which present novel research related to any aspect of media production.
Full length submitted papers will be subject to peer review and the conference organisers are again going to publish papers with the IEEE academic publishers. Selected papers will be invited to submit extended papers for a Journal special issue on Visual Media Production.
Papers are invited in all areas of media production including:
Image and video based
3D video capture
Segmentation and matting
Interactive media and games
Stereo and 3D video
Multiple view reconstruction
Infilling, object removal and insertion
TV, film and e-cinema
Image and video synthesis
Image annotation and
Image enhancement and
Post production using 3D
Stylisation and cartoon
Multiple camera systems
Novel imaging devices
Photo-realistic rendering & animation
Relighting images and
3D and stereo production
Submission of full technical papers of up to 10 pages are solicited. Accepted papers will be presented as either oral or posters and will appear in the conference proceedings. Further details of online submission and paper formats will be available from the CVMP website.
SUBMISSION DEADLINE FULL PAPER: Thursday 17 June 2010
Notification of Full Paper Acceptance: Tuesday 27 July 2010
Short one page papers presenting novel research in progress are also invited. Short papers will be considered for presentation as posters in a special session.
