Dear AI enthusiast,

We are thrilled to invite you to sign-up to the 4th edition of MAKEathon. The event will take place in Campus Olten at the FHNW OVR building (Von Rollstrasse 10, 4600 Olten Switzerland) on September 16-17, 2023.

MAKEathon is a two-day workshop that brings ambitious students, engineers, designers, and developers together to address current company and societal challenges by creating innovative AI prototypes.

MAKEathon is a learning experience, therefore you can join even if you do not have prior knowledge about Artificial Intelligence, but would like to learn about it.

Here is a video recap of MAKEathon 2022 for you to get some impression about our last edition: https://youtu.be/r69Sk514OWA

Tutorials pre-MAKEathon are offered by Microsoft and Metaphacts for you to get familiar with some of the technologies that can be used to resolve the company challenges. Link: https://www.makeathonfhnw.ch/tutorials-pre-makeathon/
Of course, anyone is free to use any technology.

We started to publish the challenges in the website at: https://www.makeathonfhnw.ch/challenges/

If you have at least a kid with age between 10 and 15, consider to let them participate to MAKEathon Youth https://www.makeathonfhnw.ch/de/youth/, which will take place on Saturday the 16th, in parallel to the MAKEathon for adults. The fun is assured 😉

For further information, check out our MAKEathon website https://makeathonfhnw.ch/

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me.

We look forward to your participation!!!
Best regards,
Dr. Emanuele Laurenzi
