Dear colleagues,

(please kindly forward to interested students and colleagues)

UCLouvain's computer science department offers a fully-funded (4-year) PhD scholarship on the security of distributed cloud infrastructures and applications.

This thesis is funded by the CyberExcellence project, a large-scale initiative of Wallonia to strengthen research and innovation in cyber security.

Title: Adaptive security for microservices applications over the cloud-edge continuum
(primary advisor Prof. Etienne Rivière)

This Ph.D. thesis will primarily deal with the secure and adaptive infrastructure for critical applications deployed over the edge-cloud continuum, including the protection against data leakages or network disruptions.

==> details: https://cloudlargescale-uclouvain.github.io/PhD_topic_CyberEx_WP4_T4.2.pdf

Potential candidates are warmly invited to get in touch with the advisor for further information. Applications should respect strictly the requirements detailed in the description.

UCLouvain offers a vibrant and stimulating environment in the hearth of Europe, competitive employment conditions (including salary), and access to top-level research facilities.

Note that the group offers several other funded Ph.D. thesis in related topics, see https://cloudlargescale-uclouvain.github.io/vacancies for details.

best regards,
