The 2nd Summer School on Practice and Theory of Distributed Computing 
(SPTDC)

The school offers courses on a wide range of practical and theoretical 
aspects of distributed systems given by renowned experts in the field. 
The program will cover the following topics:

- Concurrent data structures: correctness and efficiency;
- Algorithms for non-volatile memory;
- Distributed computability;
- Distributed machine learning;
- State-machine replication and Paxos;
- Byzantine fault-tolerance;
- Blockchains.
