The 3rd (online) edition of our school offers courses on a wide range of 
practical and theoretical aspects of distributed systems given by 
renowned experts in the field. The program will cover the following topics:

- Programming for persistent memory;
- Recoverable locks;
- Cryptographic tools for distributed computing;
- Distributed storage;
- Consistency and isolation in distributed systems;
- Blockchains.

The school is open to anyone interested in theoretical and practical 
aspects of distributed computing. There are no prerequisites, though the 
attendees are expected to have certain maturity in math and programming.

This online edition of SPTDC is accompanied by Hydra 2020 
(https://hydraconf.com/), an industrial conference on concurrent and 
distributed computing, featuring talks by Maurice Herlihy, Michael 
Scott, Nir Shavit, Cliff Click, Martin Kleppmann and many others.
