Dear Distributed Computing Community,

I would like to thank Stefan Schmid for writing and including this
summary on short notice.

I encourage everyone to read the article and discuss in the Zulip forum
( https://podc-disc.zulipchat.com , as announced by Jukka Suomela). The
task force members and myself will be happy to provide clarification
about points that remained unclear and respond to other questions.

In the DISC business meeting, I will give a short presentation about the
proposed models and the results of the survey, followed by some time for
discussion; the steering committee will assign a moderator. Please make
sure to be there, if at all possible!
