Applications are invited for one postdoctoral fellow to begin on September
1, 2021. The position will be co-supervised by Dr. Konstantinos Georgiou,
Ryerson University, Dept. of Mathematics, and Dr. Evangelos Kranakis,
Carleton University, School of Computer Science.

The postdoc will be hosted in the Graphs at Ryerson research group,
Department of Mathematics,

The applicant should have a PhD in Mathematics or Computer Science. The
ideal candidate would have expertise in one or more of the following areas:
Mobile Agent Computing,  Distributed Computing & Search, Combinatorial
Optimization, Discrete & Computational Geometry. The position is open to
candidates of any nationality and selection will be based upon the
candidate's research record and potential.  As the applicant will normally
teach, some teaching experience is preferred.

This position provides an opportunity to engage in research with a limited
amount of teaching, and is suited for talented mathematicians/theoretical
computer scientists who have recently completed (or will have completed by
August 2021) their Ph.D. The salary is competitive, with funding provided
for a year and with potential for renewal for a second year.
