A PhD position in distributed computing is open at the University of Bordeaux/LaBRI. The position is supported by CNRS and is connected to a wider Indo-French collaboration, manifested by the UMI ReLaX http://projects.lsv.ens-cachan.fr/relax/ . The student hired should expect to travel to Chennai, India during his/her PhD.

RESEARCH TOPIC : Relaxed fault-tolerant shared objects for modern large scale distributed systems.

ELIGIBILITY and FORMALITIES 
The position is open for three years starting in 2019. 
Applicants should hold a Masters degree in computer science, at the latest at the time their contract starts. There is no nationality condition.
Basic knowledge of distributed computing and a good mathematical background are expected.
