As a Research Engineer in QPQ, you thrive at the threshold of Research and Development, constantly bridging the gap between the generation of new ideas and their implementation. In your role, you contribute to the creation of Research Assets, the generation of IPs and their protection. You also enhance the technical eminence and visibility of QPQ, and you are a key contributor to products and customers’ engagement.

In your professional experience or your academic education, you have acquired the skills and hands-on experience, including but not limited to software engineering, distributed systems, algorithms and data structures, coding in cutting edge programming languages.

Minimum qualifications:

3+ years of practical coding experience:
Rust, Kotlin, C++, Java.

Applied coding skills and experience in one or more of the following:
Distributed systems
Experience on the development of distributed systems.
Experience on building proficient and high-quality code, following coding standards.
Experience on the management of whole software lifecycle:
Maintaining and enhancing software
A will and ability to learn new technologies and coding languages as needed.
An ability to speak and write in English fluently.

Preferred qualifications:

Working knowledge and practical skills in DLT & consensus protocols.
Experience with applied and advanced cryptography.
Open source contribution is always a plus.
Experience in architecting & developing distributed systems.
Experience in developing scalable and performant systems.
Experience with complex applications.
Experience with low-level software development.
Publications in peer to peer academic venues.
