Dear Colleagues,

The 2022 ACM Joint European Software Engineering Conference and Symposium
on the Foundations of Software Engineering (ESEC/FSE) is pleased to
announce the call for workshop papers.ESEC/FSE 2022 features 8 workshops
covering a variety of topics. Details can be found in:

*SEA4DQ 2022: 2nd Workshop on Software Engineering and AI for Data Quality
in Cyber-Physical Systems **Chairs:* Sagar Sen; Phu Nguyen; Maria Chiara
Magnanini; Mikel Armendia; Beatriz Bretones Cassoli; Nicolas Jourdan
*Description:* How can software engineering and artificial intelligence
(AI) help manage and tame data quality issues in CPS/IoT? Emerging trends
in software engineering need to take data quality management seriously as
CPS/IoT are increasingly data-centric in their approach to acquiring and
processing data along the edge-fog-cloud continuum. This workshop will
provide researchers and practitioners a forum for exchanging ideas,
experiences, understanding of the problems, visions for the future, and
promising solutions to the problems in data quality in CPS/IoT.

*MSR4P&S 2022: 1st Workshop on Mining Software Repositories Applications
for Privacy and Security *
*Chairs: *Melina Vidoni; Nicolás E. Díaz Ferreyra; Zadia Codabux
*Description: *MSR4P&S provides a forum for researchers and practitioners
to exchange ideas, experiences, investigate problems, and propose promising
solutions concerning the application of Mining Software Repositories (MSR)
to investigate the different stages of privacy and security. The workshop
topics cover a wide range of MSR applications for cybersecurity research,
including empirical and mixed-method approaches, as well as datasets and
tools.

*MaLTeSQuE 2022: Machine Learning Techniques for Software Quality
Evaluation *
*Chairs: *Maxime Cordy; Xiaofei Xie; Bowen Xu; Stamatia Bibi
*Description: *MaLTeSQuE provides a forum for researchers and practitioners
to present and discuss new ideas, trends and results concerning the
application of machine learning methods for software engineering. The focus
areas of the workshop are software quality assessment, practices that
contribute towards quality assurance, the application of software
engineering techniques to self-learning systems and quality assurance of
machine learning techniques when applied to software systems.

*EASEAI 2022: 4th International Workshop on Education through Advanced
Software Engineering and Artificial Intelligence *
*Chairs:* Julie Henry; Upsorn Praphamontripong; Camelia Serban; Andreea
Vescan
*Description: *EASEAI brings together researchers, teachers, and
practitioners who use advanced software engineering tools and artificial
intelligence techniques in the education field and through a
transgenerational and transdisciplinary range of students to discuss the
current state of the art and practices, and establish new future
directions.

*Residuals 2022: Characterizing and Modeling Residual Software Bugs *
*Chairs:* Stefan Winter; Roberto Natella; Neeraj Suri; Domenico Cotroneo;
Cristina Nita-Rotaru; Karthik Pattabiraman
*Description: *Residual software bugs are bugs that escape quality
assurance and trigger failures during operation. To summarize the state of
the art/practice and open problems in this field, the workshop invites
expert talks from the software engineering, fault tolerance, and security
domains.

*Gamify 2022: International Workshop on Gamification of Software
Development, Verification and Validation *
*Chairs:* Riccardo Coppola; Luca Ardito; Mirna Munoz; Maurizio Leotta
*Description: *Gamify provides a forum for researchers, practitioners and
industry partner to discuss and evaluate the potential of the application
of Gamification to software development, verification and validation.

*QP4SE 2022: Quantum Programming for Software Engineering *
*Chairs:* Fabiano Pecorelli; Vita Santa Barletta; Manuel A. Serrano
*Description: *QP4SE workshop allows researchers and practitioners to (i)
present and discuss solutions, challenges, and trends in the field of
quantum programming for software engineering and (ii) provide best
practices for the development of new solutions, or improve the existing
ones. The main focus topics of the workshop are quantum optimization for
software engineering, quantum artificial intelligence/machine learning for
software engineering, and industrial applications of quantum solutions to
improve software engineering-related tasks.

*A-TEST 2022: 13th Workshop on Automating Test Case Design, Selection and
Evaluation *
*Chairs:* Ákos Kiss; Mehrdad Saadatmand; Niels Doorn; Antony Bartlett;
Beatriz Marín; Jeroen Pijpker
*Description:* A-TEST provides a venue for researchers and industry members
alike to exchange and discuss trending views, ideas, state of the art, work
in progress, and scientific results on automated test case design,
selection and evaluation.
