***** Explanation for mailing list moderator *****
Many contributions to safety and security stem from Software
Engineering. With the Automotive conference, we merely focus
them to the automotive field. The SafeWare Engineering conference
has as its focus the safety, security and reliability of components
in IoT. We are generally not accepting papers that
focus on the functionality of automotive or IoT systems. It is the
application of safety and security techniques that are of
interest, and as such these are SE topics.

          Calls for Papers
       for the joint conferences:
     Automotive - Safety & Security 2019
     SafeWare Engineering
Date: Sept. 30 - Oct. 2, 2019
Venue: Robert Bosch, Auf der Breit 4, Karlsruhe, Germany
-----------------------------------------------------

Eighth in its series, the conference "Automotive - Safety & Security
2019" deals again in all aspects of reliability, safety, security,
privacy, etc. in automotive systems, many of which are heavily
influenced by advances is applied Software Engineering. Unlike the
past national conferences, this incarnation of the conference addresses
the international community. The conference (and submission) language is
English.

Newly created, the conference "SafeWare Engineering" follows the same
themes for the application domain of the Internet of Things (IoT).
Regardless of the causes of faulty behaviour, IoT systems need to
guarantee that no harm comes to persons, environment, or possessions
out of safety, security or privacy violations. Integrated approaches are
needed to address the combination of these concerns.

A detailed, non-exclusive list of topics for the conferences can be
found in their respective Calls for Papers on the website of the
conference.

For Automotive - Safety & Security 2019:

We would appreciate relevant unpublished contributions from research,
industry and academia.
Papers of up to 14 pages (in English) or abstracts of 6 pages should be
submitted before April 4th, 2019 via Easychair. For further dates and
for authors' instructions, follow the links above.

Proceedings will be published in the Springer Communications in Computer
and Information Science series and captured by the major citation indices.
