I'm bringing this email to your attention because I would really like to
see at least one liberal arts college represented amongst the eight members
of this student advisory group. I shared the call for applications with my
students, and I'll be thinking about encouraging specific students to
encourage to apply. I hope you'll do the same.

Education Seeks Undergraduate Students to Serve on Student Advisory Board

The Alliance for Identity-Inclusive Computing Education (AiiCE) is looking
for eight (8) amazing undergraduates from across the country to serve as
members of our *student advisory board

The student advisory board will work alongside the *external advisory board
<https://identityincs.org/advisors/> *to provide strategic advice on
Alliance activities. Students will serve in either one-year (rising
seniors) or two-year terms.

Potential student advisory board members must meet the following
requirements:

   - Currently enrolled as a student at a U.S. two- or four-year college or
   university.
   - Remain enrolled as a student at a U.S. two- or four-year college or
   university during their term (one or two years, depending on
   classification).
   - Demonstration of prior activities/engagements that support the *AiiCE
   mission* <https://identityincs.org/>.
   - Submission of a current resume.


*NOTE: Students DO NOT need to be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident to
serve as a student advisory board member. *

The deadline for applications is Friday, April 22, 2022. Students will be
notified in the first week of May and will participate in our stakeholder
meeting in late June.
