                                    ATMOS 2020
20th Symposium on Algorithmic Approaches for Transportation Modeling, Optimization, and Systems
7-8 September 2020, Pisa, Italy - part of ALGO 2020
http://algo2020.di.unipi.it/ATMOS2020/index.html

Submission deadline: 24 June 2020

SCOPE
-----

The Symposium on Algorithmic Approaches for Transportation Modelling, Optimization, and Systems
(http://atmos-symposium.eu/) is an international forum for researchers in the area of algorithms
and optimization methods to facilitate planning and operational management of freight and passenger
transportation and traffic.

ATMOS brings together researchers and practitioners who are interested in all aspects of algorithmic
methods and models for transport optimization. The symposium provides a forum for the exchange and
dissemination of new ideas and techniques. The aim of making transportation better gives rise to very
complex and large-scale optimization problems requiring innovative solution techniques and ideas from
algorithms, mathematical optimization, theoretical computer science, and operations research.

IMPORTANT DATES
---------------

Submission deadline: 24 June 2020
Author Notification: 24 July 2020
Symposium: 7-8 September 2020

PAPER SUBMISSION
----------------

Authors are invited to submit an extended abstract or full paper of at most 12 pages (including title
page and abstract, but excluding references and an optional appendix).

Submissions must be formatted in LaTeX, using the OASIcs style file:
https://submission.dagstuhl.de/documentation/authors

The paper should contain a succinct statement of the issues and of their motivation, a summary of the
main results, and a brief explanation of their significance, accessible to non-specialist readers.
Proofs omitted due to space constraints can be put into an appendix to be read by the program committee
members at their discretion.

Papers must be submitted electronically via the EasyChair submission system at
https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=atmos2020

By submitting a paper, the authors acknowledge that in case of acceptance at least one of the authors
must register at ALGO 2020, attend the conference, and present the paper. Attendance and presentation
can be either physical (if there are no safety concerns due to the covid-19), or virtual (in case of
remaining safety concerns or travel restrictions).
