                        23.-27.7.2001
        ZF Friedrichshafen AG, Friedrichshafen, Germany

Background
----------

ZF (a major supplier company in the automative sector), and ISCN (a well
known network of experts and partners in process improvement), together
with original authors from SPICE materials hold a SPICE 2.0
workshop in July each year for the electronics, automotive, telecom and
aerospace industry.
The workshop in 2000 was a big success with participation from major
industries and which helped to transfer assessment competencies into
process groups of leading industry.

----

The workshop is interactive with learning by doing exercises. It gives a
full introduction into SPICE, how SPICE maps onto CMMI, with practical
sessions for scoring, rating, assessment planning, improvement planning,
and assessment interviews.
Each participant receives a course certificate stating that the
participant is trained as an assessor for SPICE 2.0.
